In my breath, I found me

breathing deeply

into my belly button

spreading through my pelvis

filling back up into my chest and heart

my loving kindness

In me, I found a hole

rooting deeply through my core aching

my sacrum trying to hold it together

but the pain is too great

The professionals say it may

be an imbalance

from walking slanted ground

or something left over from child-bearing

but that is unlikely

Seeds were scattered carelessly

with the wind, in the trees

implanting at the wrong time

i couldnt see

you never wanted them to take root

now you must eat the bitter fruit

to taste the good

But I will find an orchard

apart from yours and mine

caring for my saplings in a new soil

filling my hole

a garden will grow
